The current pandemic is making life hard for all musicians Independent musicians - those you may have never heard of are suffering the most. Performances are being cancelled, classes are being cancelled or severely limited, recording studios, even home studios are not functioning and more. You can help out by listening to their music via streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music (iTunes), and Amazon Music. Big name groups probably don't need help. Instead, try to listen to people who you have not heard on the radio. The artists make money for every song played. Also consider purchasing a track or album. If an artist has a donate button on their website, consider making a donation. Here are some links to get you started: Spotify (Listen for free) | Apple Music (iTunes) | Amazon Music | Google Music. And of course we can be helped with every piece of sheet music you buy or by taking music lessons over Skype or Facetime

Category Descriptions

These are titles arranged for brass instruments and include solos, duets, trios, quartets, quintets or chamber group pieces with or without piano accompaniment. Purchase one copy and print out as many copies as you need.

Choral Music
Arrangements for vocal ensembles or full choir. See the individual descriptions for detail. These are for various combinations of voices, from SAB to SATB to TTBB, usually with piano accompaniment. Purchase one copy and print out as many as your choir needs.

Handbell and handchime music is often interchangeable so just because it says handbells doesn't mean you can't try it with chimes (or vice versa). When using handbell music on handchimes, do not do any of the mallet, mart or plucking that might be listed. When doing handchime music on handbells, try adding mallet, mart or plucking effects to the music. The levels listed correspond approximately to the AGEHR rating system. The number of octaves required varies from 2 to 5 and much of our 5 octave material works well with only 3 octaves playing. Purchase one copy and print out as many copies as you need.

Instrumental hymn accompaniments
Variations of the typical 4-part hymns found in most hymnals. Some additional arrangement material is added and the pieces are written more in instrumental style than if played straight out of the hymnal. A complete set of parts are provided for a typical orchestra. These are one verse only and designed to be used to supplement keyboard accompaniment of congregational singing. For more details about the series, see the Hymn accompaniment details file (PDF). Purchase one copy and print out as many copies as you need.

Instrumental Descants and improvisations
These consist of one verse of the song. The descants are designed for use in accompanying hymns along with the usual keyboard accompaniment. Improvisations are also one verse only and are similarly useful for congregational singing. Both are quite suitable for use on synthesizer or secondary piano or organ. The melody is included. Purchase one copy and print out as many copies as you need.

Instrumental Ensembles
Full arrangements of the listed title. This is the category for everything instrumental from a combination of 3 instruments up to, but not quite full orchestra and consisting of a mix of instrument families. For example, string and brass playing together would be here as might be woodwinds and brass playing together. For pieces utilizing just brass or just woodwinds or just strings, see those respective categories. Also listed are the 4+1 ensemble pieces. Those are described below. Purchase one copy and print out as many copies as you need.
